I am currently a certified Zen Yoga Instructor recognized by Yoga Alliance and having deep roots in Anusara Inspired/Hatha Yoga. I am also a certified Zen Wellness Medical Chi Gong and Tai Chi Instructor. I have been teaching full time, currently own a Zen Yoga & Wellness studio. I began my mind body art training in my early twenties and have enjoyed the journey to where I am today. A few years later Debbie Forrest (Forest House Yoga – Anusara-inspired and Yoga Therapies, with her depth of understanding inspired me to go down the rabbit hole if you will- and grow as a yogini and a new mother). Emerging from the 200-hour instructor training I refined my teaching style at Zen Yoga and soon enrolled in their Certified Instructor Training. From early on the wisdom of Ancient Healing Lineages resonated with me. Through my time teaching, I saw a man feel his toes again, an 83-year-old woman practicing inversions, and others light up from within shining conscious awareness and bright inner smiles. Most recently achived my 1st degree black belt in T'ai Chi. With deep gratitude for my teachers with whom I have had the opportunity to study with; Debbie Forrest of Forest House Yoga (Hatha Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Anusara-inspired), Kat Myers-Powliski (P.T., Yoga Teacher Trainer, Yamana bodyrolling), Beth Hayes-Leone (Shamanic studies, 4th degree black belt Instructor, Zen Yoga, Zen Wellness), Jason Campbell (6th degree black belt, Zen Business Bootcamp, Zen Yoga) and Michael J. Leone (8th degree black belt Instructor), Grand Master Sung Baek (Doh Yi Taoist Healing Arts Cirriculum including Taoist Yoga, Yin-Yang theory, 5 elements and 6 energies, 7- Dimensions and 8-Trigrams (I-Ching). The few named here were (and some still are) the main inspirations.
