FAQ's

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Water. Hand Towel. Mat if you have one.

Q. What do I wear?
A. Somewhat fitted clothing is best, yet comfortable and non-restrictive.

Q. Should I eat before class?
A. It is best to eat 2 hours or more before class to give your digestive system a chance to get some work done.  Do your best to steer free of overfilling before a practice.  Light snacks are fine closer to class times.  Toast, an apple, maybe tea or a little coffee?

Q. How long are the classes?
A. Classes are 45 to 90 minutes depending on the class.

Q. How early is it best to arrive before class?
A. 15 minutes will give you an opportunity to get settled in and use the restroom.

Q. May I use the restroom during class?
A. It is best to relieve the bladder and bowels before any practice.  Feel free to use the restroom at any time during the practice, however we ask you refrain from going during meditation portion. 

Q. I am not flexible. Is yoga for me?
A. "You are only as young as your spine is flexible", this goes for the rest of the body as well.  Flexiblity will not magically reappear someday.  It does not happen by accident, you must cultivate keeping your flexiblity every day.
